Rich opportunities and activities
In the physical domain, students have numerous opportunities to engage in sports and physical activities. Those who demonstrate skill can become PSSA representatives and compete in swimming, cross country, and athletics carnivals, progressing from school events to district, regional, and state levels. District Trials are held for a variety of sports such as netball, AFL, touch football, soccer, hockey, rugby league, rugby union, and cricket. Additional programs like the Premier’s Sporting Challenge and the Kilometre Club encourage students to maintain an active lifestyle and strive for personal fitness goals.
The creative domain nurtures students’ artistic and performance talents through diverse programs and groups. Highlights include performing with the recorders at the Opera House and contributing artwork to Operation Art. Students can participate in performance opportunities such as Kids on Show, as well as join various dance groups, junior and senior choirs, band, and drama club. These activities foster creativity, collaboration, and self-expression in a supportive environment.
In the social-emotional domain, the school provides leadership and community-building programs to develop students' personal and interpersonal skills. Leadership roles are available as school captains, SRC members, and sports leaders. The citizenship program encourages responsibility and active participation in the school community. Additional clubs like the Lego Club and Kindergarten Buddies promote peer interaction, empathy, and teamwork, supporting students’ social and emotional growth.
Intellectual Domain
