This day celebrates the work of teachers, acknowledging the important contribution they make to the community.

Inaugurated on 5 October 1994 by the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organisation, World Teachers’ Day is celebrated annually in over 100 countries.

We are very proud of our fine teachers at Mittagong Public School where we celebrated their fine efforts by providing an opportunity for all staff to enjoy a barbie lunch.
