Mrs Hampton visited the Mittagong and District Senior Citizens and Welfare Club this week to accept a cheque on behalf of the school. As mentioned in the previous newsletter, the club had decided to donate half of the proceeds from their fundraiser last week towards resources for our kindergarten students who sang for the members of the club last Tuesday. The cheque was presented by club members Shirley and Barry. Mittagong Public would like to formally thank the Mittagong and District Senior Citizens and Welfare Club for this generous contribution and look forward to many more visits and sharing of music.
