Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Our school event may include:

school orientation days
sports carnivals
open day and school tours
Harmony Week and Book Week events
excursions and incursions
performances, concerts or school productions
fundraising, charity and community events
award assemblies
graduation and other celebrations.

P&C meetings 2026

Dates: 2nd Tuesday each month

Time: 6.30pm -8.30pm

Come along and be involved in our P&C. Meetings are held 2nd Tuesday of each month in term times.

Book Parade at MPS 9am - 11.30am

Date: Tuesday 25 August

You are invited to come along to our book parade and join in the fun. You can dress up or just watch our students in their costumes.

Date: Mittagong Public School Library 9 - 10am

Book Parade

Date: Tuesday 25 August

Get ready for the annual Book Parade. Come dressed as your favourite book character.

Southern Stars Performance

Date: Friday 28 and Saturday 29 August

Our singers and dancers are performing at the WIN Entertainment Centre with other students from all over NSW. Good luck and enjoy performing. Tickets still available.
